Jump'In Horse lift bit

Composition : Blue Steel. The Blue Steel alloy that covers this range of bits Jump'In is made up of 54% carbon and 46% manganese.

Effect : It impacts the horse's balance by forcing it to rebalance and shift its weight to the hindquarters. The larger the rings, the greater the lift action will be. The single-jointed self-blocking mouthpiece allows for some play and freedom in contact but maintains a higher level of control when necessary. Blue Steel bits oxidise when exposed to air and moisture, creating a fine, sweet-tasting layer of rust that naturally stimulates saliva production. As the horse salivates more, it gains better contact with the bit. In this oxidation process, the colour changes to grey/brown.

Usage advice : This bit can be used with reins attached fixedly to the lower ring, with connectors, or with two pairs of reins. The self-blocking bit can be perfectly suited for riders looking for a bit more control while still using a comfortable ergonomic mouthpiece for the horse. Combining it with the lift bit will be ideal for horses that are losing balance and tend to shift weight onto their shoulders. Its slightly narrower mouthpiece than a standard one allows for a bit more finesse in what you're trying to achieve.
