All dog crates in this range feature spring-loaded side hooks with safety locks, a sturdy, plastic-coated iron door, a retractable and extendable handle, a feed trough for food or water, side ventilation grids for good air circulation, a hygienic drainage mat and a compartment for objects. The safety closure has recently been redesigned to make it easier to use, more efficient and safer: turning the knob activates four fixing points that anchor the door to the carrier's main structure, preventing unpleasant accidental openings during the journey. What's more, the door features a 25 x 25 mm mesh, designed to comply with current IATA regulations concerning the transport of pets.

In the packaging for the new Atlas 50 and 60 Restyling, you'll find clamps that can be attached to the carrier door to guarantee greater security, and 8 screws that can be fixed to the appropriate holes in the side locking systems.

Optional wheels can be fitted to the bottom of the cage: Wheel kit L145 for Atlas 40, wheel kit L388 for Atlas 70 or wheel kit L388B for Atlas 50 and 60 Restyling. This kit includes 2 fixed wheels and 2 swivel wheels with brake.

Finally, a special net kit is also available, as an option for travel by train, boat or plane, and for attachment to side ventilation grilles.
